Reserve a car

The list is short. All you need is:

• A valid passport or ID card
• A category B driving licence held for at least 1 year
• A bank card in your own name for the deposit

If your licence was issued outside the EU, please also bring an international driving permit or a certified translation.

You can send us photos of your documents in advance via WhatsApp or Viber — we prepare the contract beforehand, so signing at pick-up takes just a few minutes. All documents must stay valid for the entire rental period.

Booking takes just a few minutes:

1. Pick your dates and your car directly on toprent.md
2. Fill in the short booking form
3. We confirm availability by phone or message
4. Collect the car at our office, at Chișinău Airport, or have it delivered to your address
5. Sign the contract and you're on your way

Handover takes around 15 minutes if you have your documents with you. You can pay by card, in cash, or by bank transfer for company rentals.

You can rent from 21 years old, with at least 1 year of driving experience. A few details worth knowing:

• For premium cars and large SUVs, the minimum age is 25
• Drivers aged 21 to 23 pay a young driver fee
• You can add a second driver to the contract if they meet the same requirements

These are insurer requirements rather than our own rules, and any fees are shown at booking — no surprises at the counter.

Yes, but it isn't a cost — it's money that comes back to you. The deposit can be:

• Blocked on your bank card, without actually being charged
• Left in cash and returned when you bring the car back

It ranges from 200 to 500 EUR depending on the model, and you see the exact amount at booking, not just in the contract.

The deposit is released in full once the car comes back without damage or fines. If it was blocked on your card, your bank may need a few working days before the amount becomes available again.

One phone call solves almost any delay. If you let us know in advance, we usually extend the rental on the spot, as long as the car isn't already promised to someone else.

Without notice, the contract terms apply:

• Up to 1 hour late — no extra charge
• Between 1 and 3 hours — charged at the hourly rate in your contract
• Over 3 hours — charged as a full rental day

Yes, many of our cars can leave the Republic of Moldova. You just need to tell us early so we can prepare the paperwork:

• Mention your destination when you book
• A fee applies for international insurance (Green Card)
• We issue the authorisation for taking the car across the border in your name
• The list of permitted countries is set out in your contract

Not every model is available for trips abroad, so check with us before you plan the route.

The advertised rate already includes:

• RCA — third-party liability insurance
• CASCO with a deductible, covering damage to the rented car
• Theft cover
• 24/7 roadside assistance within the Republic of Moldova

For complete peace of mind you can also add:

• Deductible reduced to zero
• Tyre and glass cover
• Insurance for trips abroad

Nothing shows up as a surprise at the end: everything you choose is written into the contract before you sign.
